The fantastic work by Lilydale and surrounding brigades, shaking tins for the Good Friday Appeal, was dramatically cut short on Good Friday (6th April), when Lilydale and Mooroolbark Brigades were paged to a reported housefire in Chirnside Park.

Just after 10pm last night (12th April), several 000 calls were made from concerned residents in Grey Street in Darley, after they spotted smoke and flames issuing from an old brick factory.

By Sarah Long and Daniel Brkic.Bacchus Marsh Fire Brigade crews were kept busy last Wednesday morning (15th Feb), with two incidents. The first being a motor vehicle accident in Griffith Street, Bacchus Marsh, with one person trapped, and the second a structure fire that kept them busy for most of the morning in Darley.
