Following an information evening the response from volunteers and staff was very positive and with the support of the neighbouring Lilydale Toastmasters; the D13 Toastmasters Club was formed.
“Volunteers and staff can be placed in to the spotlight without notice, so our confidence to speak in public can sometimes falter” said Evan Thomas, D13 Toastmaster President.
“The formation of this chapter provides an opportunity for people to become a more confident speaker and enhance or improve their presentation skills.”
