4 crews from Hamilton FB were called just before 3am and found the single storey weatherboard house fully involved in fire.
Firefighters using breathing apparatus fought the blaze for 20 minutes. It appears no-one was living at the house.
Crews remained on the scene until just before 6am.
The home sustained significant damage in the fire.
