CFA crews from Ballarat City and Wendouree arrived at the Willoby Drive house just before 11am on Friday 15 June and contained the fire to the rear of the property.
The fire destroyed the garage and damaged part of the house.
The property was unoccupied at the time of the blaze and the snakes died.
