Shock Tactics Help Fundraising

Dandenong Ranges Feeding Group recently held a fundraising and auction at the Clematis Hotel.

Walking through the door, you were immediately directed to your table, but not without being asked to put your hand deep into your pocket to support the group by purchasing a book of raffle tickets or ten.

Numerous items were up for auction with truck loads of lucky door prizes as well. However the most sought after item was the big red wooden fire truck.

Security was nearly called when loud bantering could be heard across the room between Dandenong Ranges Operations Officer Colin Brown and Yarra Valley Catchment BASO Wendy Cormack, as to who would be the successful winner, both are pending grandparents. To their shock and horror neither won… Congratulations to the successful winner.

The evening moved along at a great rate of knots and winners galore. Shock tactics included winners showing off socks, jocks, tatts and more…

Thanks must go to the Krumins family, members of the Feeding Group and all those who attended for supporting a great night.
