‘Don’t Wait and See’ is an educational DVD produced by Manningham City Council that was delivered to every household in the Greater Warrandyte area in mid December 2011. The DVD contains important bushfire information to assist residents better understand their bushfire risk and highlight the importance of planning and preparation.

Greater Warrandyte was assessed by the State Government as having one of the most extreme bushfire risks in Victoria. Manningham Mayor Cr Geoff Gough said “in times of bushfire, the survival of residents, their family, friends and pets is paramount. ‘Don’t Wait and See’ is a wonderful and unique initiative of Manningham Council to help better inform residents about the specific issues and risks associated with living in the Greater Warrandyte area during the summer months."
