It is that time of year again where grassland curing observers are stepping out into their paddocks to commence their weekly grassland curing observations.  Curing refers to the percentage of dead material in the grass and is a key factor in fire behaviour.  The degree of curing is an important input into the Grassland Fire Danger Index.This season, the 200+ observers have some new resources to make their important job easier.
