On a picturesque, sunny day Peterborough, a small town located on the Great Ocean Road with approximately 200 residents, played host to CFA members for their official truck handover.

1st Lieutenant, Bill Richmond, on behalf of the Peterborough Fire Brigade, accepted the Mitsubishi Light Tanker from The Hon. Terry Mulder, Minister for Public Transport and Roads on Saturday 22nd September.

The Light Tanker was successfully obtained through the Community Safety Emergency Services Equipment Program, now known as the Volunteer Emergency Services Equipment Program.
