New look for CFA Connect

Notice anything different? CFA Connect has had a facelift and we need your help identifying any bugs ahead of our official redesign launch on 18 May.

Following feedback from users and to mark the site's two year anniversary the CFA Connect team has revamped the site.

With so much content now streaming in the home page has been redesigned to offer up easy access to over 150 stories compared to 15 on the previous home page.

CFA TV videos can now be viewed directly on the home page on the embedded YouTube player.

Clicking on a photo in the Latest Photos module will take you directly to the relevant photo gallery and have a link to any associated story.

And a list of the latest CFA Connect blogs can also now be accessed directly from the home page.

Story pages have been redesigned to make them easier to read and include access to the latest 150 stories to make it easier to keep up to date with the latest headlines.

Members can discuss the new design by logging in to Connect and clicking here.

Members of the public can comment on the Public Forum.

To celebrate the new design and CFA Connect's 2nd anniversary we will be holding a party at Grampians HQ in Ballarat on May 18 from 1pm.

A limited number of spaces are still available for CFA members so email cfaconnect@cfa.vic.gov.au if you would like to attend.

We hope you like the new design but this is just one step on our continuing journey of working to improve the site so we look forward to your feedback!

Link error

Clicking on the members link to comment on the new look gives a 404 error.

I think the photo section at the top of the page is too big. The content on the page is hidden too far down the page to get an appreciation of what is going on.

Sorry Geoff - don't know what happened to the link but I think I've fixed it now. The thread is "Website - new design"
