Members of all Victorian emergency services and their families will have a rare opportunity to swap stories and compare their hardware at the second Multi-Agency Specialist Appliance Display being held at Knoxfield between 0900 and 1300 this Sunday.

Hosted by Knox Group, the display will showcase a collection of 66 specialist appliances from 9 emergency service agencies. The event provides a unique opportunity for Emergency Services personnel and their families to familiarise themselves with the myriad of resources available for response to incidents.

Practical displays of appliances and equipment will be conducted throughout the day.

The key objective of the event is to foster a closer relationship between agencies and develop a better understanding of the capability that exists between emergency services.

Fire Services Commissioner Craig Lapsley and CFA Deputy Chief Officer Gregg Patterson are among some of the senior personnel who’ll be attending. Free coffee will be served and low cost food and drinks will be available.

Not able to make it unfortunately, but with the number of specialist vehicles expected, sounds like a great photographic opportunity for someone. Look forward to seeing some photos of the vehicles on here later.
