District 14 Operations Manager John Deering, along with Captain Damian Elvey and Brigade Chairman Ned Pannuzzo presented Greg Heffernan with a 30 year Life Membership Medal and David Chandler with a 40 year Life Membership Medal.
Unfortunately, two other members, David Clarke and Peter Isbister, were unable to attend to receive their 30 yr Life Membership medals. Kalkallo RFB recognises and thanks these four members for their years of service to the Brigade and the CFA.
Damian and John also presented various service awards ranging from 5 to 25 years. 5 year award - Danie Bazzano, 10 year - Kylie Soma, 20 year - John Severn, Rob Logie and Margaret Lloyd, 25 year - Harold Cocking, David Evans and Richard Lloyd.
All up, the awards presented celebrated some 260 years of valued service to the brigade.
