The Forum brings together like minded CFA members interested in their community’s safety. The Forum will include a range of presentations and workshops from brigade members sharing their successful community engagement initiatives as well as presentations from key note speakers David Chalke (Social Analyst) and Allan Pease (Mr Body Language).
Member Engagement Project Manager Ali Martin said today “There is some fantastic work going on within Brigades around the State so it’s great to get like-minded people together to share their stories. We had over 140 members attend last year in Macedon and to have grown that to 220 this year. It’s a full house this weekend”.
Whilst the Chief Officer is an apology this weekend due to a prior commitment interstate, Deputy Chief Officer Steve Warrington and Deputy Chief Officer Joe Buffone will be in attendance as well as Fire Services Commissioner Craig Lapsley. A copy of this weekend’s Forum Handbook including the full program schedule can be found on Brigades Online under ‘State Engagement Forum Handbook’ or via this link.
If your Brigade has a successful community engagement initiative no matter how big or small, the member engagement team would love to hear about it at memberengagement@cfa.vic.gov.au
