Fire Fighter Chris Clugston: Waking up at 5.30 am is not on my list of favourite things to do 3 days a week, but the benefits far out way the inconvenience. The camaraderie between us is amazing and as we struggle to both wake up and improve out fitness levels, the humour that comes out makes the session fun and exciting. Our fitness has improved and you can see there is “a spring in our step” which Gavin promised. My stats have improved form the first assessment and I now push myself to improve these further in the next 3 weeks. The actual weight loss has been all over the place due to inconsistent meal times and diet choices including several birthdays. Who can refuse rich chocolate cake? Like the Olympics, we are now “going for Gold” as we head into the final 3 weeks of the challenge so let’s “give it our all”.
