Fleet Services strategy

A Fleet Management Strategy will:

• deliver a system that demonstrates effective fleet management and underpins replacement cycles;
• support capital expenditure and funding submissions;
• establish a CFA-specific strategy to manage the firefighting fleet including:
• fit for purpose acceptance by members and community
• maintenance
• refurbishment
• replacement
• disposal.

During the project, Fleet Services will be gathering data and consulting with a broad range of CFA members at a number of forums around the State. A number of presentations will be held with Fire and Emergency Management staff, region and district representatives along with CFA members. These presentations will generate discussions regarding firefighting fleet management where feedback will be collected.
