Images taken at a grassfire in Tungamah yesterday afternoon were shared via the FireReady app and displayed in real time on the emergencyvic.info website.

The incident was called in at 5.30pm and by 5.50pm images were being submitted and shared on the emergencyvic.info's map, using the geo-coded feed to display them at the location where they were taken.

On scene were fourteen tankers and three brigade vehicles.

(To view incident images on the emergencyvic.info website, you need to switch photo observations on from the 'layer' menu of their website.)
