Comm. Lapsley spoke on his role as Commissioner of Victoria's Three Fire Agencies. He said the three Agencies would not be joining together, but needed to work together better. He compared it to Australia's Defence Force with one head of three Services (Navy, Army, Air Force). "This is a challenge, but also a fantastic opportunity."
Comm. Lapsley then presented National Medals to F.Fs Rob Farrow & Simon O'Callaghan and bars to Allan Eley & Ron Hooper.
