Terry’s career started with CFA on 4 January 1988 as an Administrative Secretary with the Mechanical Maintenance Department, which was located at 1283 Malvern Road, Malvern. Over the 24 years Terry has remained within the one Department and was the first point of contact for Mechanical Maintenance and the District Mechanical Officers (DMOs) across the state.
To say thank you and acknowledge Terry’s dedicated service to CFA, a morning tea was held today where Terry was presented with a CFA Certificate of Recognition and flowers. On behalf of Terry’s colleagues, she was also presented with a Waterford crystal rose and vase.
Danny Jones, Manager Fleet Maintenance thanked Terry for her support to DMOs and in particular DMO OICs who have acted in the Fleet Maintenance Managers role over many years stating “without Terry the DMO’s wouldn’t have survived”.
The fact that Terry has worked with the DMOs during her 24 years with CFA demonstrates her dedication and commitment to the one department.
