CFA Fire-fighters climb 1642 stairs for charity

It’s been a decade since CFA volunteers rushed to fight the bushfires in Benambra, and now it’s time to reunite and have a party.

On Sunday 18th of November career and volunteer members from the Springvale Fire Brigade attempted one of Australia’s most gruelling vertical challenges, the 88 storey climb to the top of the Eureka Tower.

Lilydale fire station will be open on Sunday 25th November to mark CFA Sunday. CFA Sunday is a chance for the public to meet the volunteers and will include items for the kids and a barbecue. The fire station will be open between 11 AM and 3 PM and will include a display of old fire trucks.
