Loch Fire Brigade once again held its open day last weekend.

Over 40 people from CFA, DSE, Victoria police and SES participated in Gippsland’s recent Phoenix Parsons exercise.

As reported in the Great Southern Star, surgeons have praised quick-thinking emergency personnel for saving the leg of an Outtrim farmer following a machinery accident on Saturday 27 October.

CFA is still on scene cleaning up from a hay baler and hay shed fire in Gippsland’s south-west.

About 20 litres of Gunwash, a cleaning solvent, spilled into a drain in Warragul today (30 October).

Loch Fire Brigade will once again open its doors to the public on 11 November at 10am.
