Crews were called to the incident just before 8am today where a B-double truck carrying up to 42,000 litres of fuel had overturned.
Eight appliances and a support unit from Dandenong spent about an hour bringing the leak under control, with an estimated 1000 litres of diesel spilt.
SES units were also called to assist at the scene as the overturned truck had collided with the front veranda of a pub, causing some structural damage.
Power was also isolated to the area surrounding the incident as a power pole was brought down as the truck rolled.
The driver of the B-double escaped with minor injuries and is being treated on scene.
CFA remained on scene until 4pm decanting diesel fuel and cleaning up.
EPA will also attend.
