Chief back to work with car warning

CFA Cheif Officer Euan Ferguson has returned to work after spending Christmas in hospital with a broken hand suffered in a bike crash on on Christmas Eve.

His left arm in a sling, the CO used his return to thank Ambulance Victoria paramedics and join them in warning motorists to look out for cyclists, particularly when opening their car door.

Mr Ferguson was riding on Riversdale Road at Hawthorn around 10 am on December 24 when a he colided with a car door opened by a motorist.
