Attracting plenty of media coverage, Gordon CFA member Diane Lawson told the Ballarat Courier the flash mob was devised as a fun way of getting the CFA volunteers out into the public.
“Most people only get to see us on the job, not as an all-singing, all-dancing mob of flash,” she told the newspaper.
“The second part of the message was winter fire safety.”
