Someone who was making a withdrawal from the ATM machine heard meowing from above the ATM and contacted CFA.
On arrival, CFA crews cut the steel barriers surrounding the ATM with a chainsaw and rescued the six kittens from the above roof cavity.
A vet across the road examined the kittens and determined them to only be around 24 hours old.
