This shift will make it really easy to navigate across both websites, with a global navigation bar providing access to warning information, current incidents and fire preparation advice from anywhere on CFA Connect.
In order to seamlessly incorporate CFA Connect into the redesigned CFA website, the news site’s look and feel will change to provide a consistent, cohesive experience for users switching between the two websites. The new designs are taken from the designs for the CFA public website, shared here. They will include all the existing functionality on CFA Connect plus improved search ability allowing you to easily search news stories by author, a ‘More from this author’ list alongside news stories and an added feed highlighting the most popular stories.
As the CFA website is responsive, mobile designs for CFA Connect have also been created to improve users’ experience reading and sharing stories and viewing images and videos on mobile devices.
Please find below several page designs for the site in both desktop and mobile view. Feel free to leave your feedback in a comment below this story or via email on email@example.com.
