CFA Tour of Duty Representative

Michael has been invited to represent CFA in the Tour of Duty run from Los Angeles to New York.

The Tour of Duty run will take place later this year with Australian representatives joining Tour of Duty Director, LFF Paul Richie from the MFB, and American counterparts to run across America to commemorate the loss of lives on 9/11.

The run will take about a month to complete and the team will run across Brooklyn Bridge on the morning of 11 September; arriving at Ground Zero at the same time as the first plane struck tower one.

One of the objectives of the run is to raise money for local charities in the United States as the run progresses, with opportunities for people to donate to the Australian group’s own charities before the event. Information on these charities will be made available shortly.

One representative from each Australian State’s fire service has been invited to take part, and it is a great privilege for Michael to be a part of this event.

CONCERT

A concert will be held in March (TBC) to raise funds for the event. Details of the concert will appear as they come to hand.
