Hand of Hope

The money was raised through the Newspaper’s ‘Hand of Hope’ mini-poster project featuring Sam the Koala and CFA volunteer David Tree.

The Department of Sustainability and Environment and CFA worked with The West Australian to establish the project. The funds will be directed to support CFA volunteers and CFA brigades.

West Australian Newspapers CEO, Chris Wharton told CFA, “WA Newspapers, The West Australian and its readers look forward to the ‘Hand of Hope’ project making the task of Victoria’s wonderful volunteer firefighters just a little easier, safer and more effective.”

CFA CEO Mick Bourke thanked The West Australian and its readers for their generous support.
