Performance and Strategy update

Bruce Russell Published in Untagged  by Bruce Russell
 Hi All,

The Performance and Strategy introduction session held last Friday afternoon was a great success. We spent the afternoon getting to know one another and participating in a team-building workshop hosted by facilitator Peter O'Brien from LSC Consulting.

It was great to see so many enthusiastic, passionate and talented people join together to form the team.

The purpose of Performance and Strategy is to:

Lead and coordinate CFA's future thinking and planning and ensure that corporate and business planning reflects a balance of current and future, supported by analytics and evidence.  Oversee and coordinate service and product design and development, ensuring strategic alignment and risk mitigation.

If you have any feedback about the purpose, please comment below or get in touch with Rachelle Bishop on #8297.

We look forward to working with you all in the near future.

Bruce Russell

Acting Executive Director

CFA Performance and Strategy

straightforward purpose statement - analytics, evidence and strategic alignment indicate, but do not necessarily include the word and concept of "consultation", without which a proper foundation for success throughout "One CFA" is hard to achieve - in my opinion

I commend any group who endeavours to focus on the future, especially for such a diverse and purposeful group, as is CFA. I trust that the VFBVA , or volunteer ranks are suitably represented as I am of the firm belief that harnessing the power of volunteers is our organisations greatest challenge and greatest endeavour. Acknowledging and supporting volunteers as well as recognising the innovation and dedication that continues in every quarter of the state should be a prime objective. I look forward to opportunities to provide input and/or feedback on any issues arising from this group...good luck!

I have just read this and wonder why if there was so many enthusiastic, passionate and talented people there why did we require a consulting firm to run the meeting. Also if you wanted feedback and internal extinsion number does not help the volunteers.
